Your drawings stay yours.

Updated 24 October 2026. LinePocket is operated by Emadeldin Siddig. This notice explains how the app and its website handle information.

Drawings and measurements

LinePocket copies drawings into local app storage. DWG decoding, DXF loading, PDF viewing and conversion, rendering, exports, and measurement happen on the device. LinePocket does not upload drawing contents for conversion. Files selected from a cloud file provider may be downloaded by that provider under its own terms.

Upcoming builds also keep annotations and source-object edits locally as saved work, linked to the original drawing. Source-object working-copy patches are not included in iCloud sync.

Optional iCloud file sync

In builds that offer iCloud Sync, the feature is off by default on each device. If you enable it, LinePocket stores imported drawings and PDFs, exports, filenames, saved measurement geometry and units, and PDF page scales in your private Apple CloudKit database. Files download automatically to your iPhone and iPad for offline use. Use the same system iCloud account on each device; this is separate from Sign in with Apple and the account administration service. Drawings and measurements are not sent to that administration service. Your iCloud storage allowance and Apple’s terms apply. Turning sync off keeps downloaded files and cloud data. Delete from All Devices removes a file and, when no other copy uses it, its saved work; deletion markers prevent offline devices from restoring removed data. Local copies are retained when your iCloud account changes, and previously synced work is not automatically uploaded to a different account. Recents and display preferences stay local.

Sign in with Apple

Sign in with Apple is required to use LinePocket and starts your seven-day full-app trial. The app does not collect your Apple password. Your Apple user identifier and original trial date are stored securely in this device’s Keychain. The build submitted on 18 October 2026 keeps accounts on device. Updated builds that show Account sync in Settings request your email through Apple; you can use Apple’s private relay address when offered. These builds send a protected account service your account identifier, Apple-verified email when available, trial dates, app-reported lifetime status, app version and last sync time. The service is hosted by Cloudflare. The owner can view account and email records through separately protected administration. We use these records to manage accounts and access, without advertising or mailing-list enrollment. Records are kept while your account remains active, until you delete it. Use Delete account in Settings to remove local data and, in builds with account sync, your server account, email records and sessions. Synced deletion needs an internet connection; the app explains failures and lets you retry. Anonymous hashed deletion receipts are valid for 24 hours to make deletion retries safe. Expired receipts, session records and sign-in replay records are removed during subsequent sign-ins. To revoke Apple authorization as well, open system Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple → LinePocket → Stop Using Apple ID. Drawings and App Store purchases are managed separately.

Purchases

Apple processes lifetime purchases and restores through the App Store. Trial access begins with your first Apple sign-in. LinePocket uses StoreKit to verify purchase status and stores the last verified entitlement in local secure storage (the current 1.2 build also shares access with its Share extension). LinePocket does not receive your payment-card details. Apple’s services process purchase information under Apple’s privacy policy.

Analytics and tracking

LinePocket uses no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, or drawing-upload service. The developer may use aggregate reports supplied by App Store Connect. Those reports and their privacy thresholds are controlled by Apple.

Website

This static product site has no waitlist, payment form, analytics script, or user-upload feature. The hosting provider handles network requests and may retain operational logs. The public website is hosted by Cloudflare. Owner administration uses a separate, protected Cloudflare Access sign-in.

Announcement emails

If you agree to receive LinePocket product announcements, we use your email address to send them through Brevo. Our protected Cloudflare administration stores announcement content, recipient lists, permission confirmations and sending status. Brevo processes recipient addresses, unsubscribe requests, delivery and bounce information. App sign-in alone does not enroll you in announcements. You can unsubscribe using the link in an announcement or contact [email protected]. We retain the information needed to honor unsubscribe requests and handle delivery or privacy requests. Replies go to our existing support mailbox.

Support and deletion

If you email support, your email address, message, and attachments are used to answer and investigate your request. Mail is processed by our email provider; it is not sent to an AI service. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve the issue, and you may request its deletion by email. Avoid sending confidential customer drawings without permission. Local drawings remain under your control through the app and Files; preserve backups before removing app data.
