A clearer view of your drawing.

Get help with drawings, files, measurements, and purchases. Version 1.2 is available on the App Store. The new 1.2.1 workspace shown on our homepage is a development preview; the sections below distinguish the current download from upcoming tools.

Open a drawing

In LinePocket, tap Open Drawing and choose a DWG or ASCII DXF in Files. You can also share a drawing from another app and choose LinePocket. Imported drawings are copied into local storage and appear in Saved Files.

Try the full app for seven days

On the first screen, choose Sign in with Apple to start your free seven-day trial. It covers the included app features, including drawing viewing, layers, measurement, and available CAD/PDF tools. Repeat sign-in on the same device keeps its original seven-day window. Updated builds with account sync use the earliest verified account trial across devices; a new device must connect for its first account check. The trial ends without charging and never automatically becomes a paid plan.

Unlock or restore lifetime access

After the trial, a lifetime purchase is required to keep using the drawing tools. The US lifetime price is $49.99, paid once. No subscription or renewal. Apple displays the localized price before purchase.

Use Account & License in the main app to purchase or Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that obtained the purchase. Settings, Restore Purchases, and recovery of existing files remain available after access expires. Your drawings are not deleted because the trial ends.

Purchasing or restoring requires an App Store connection. In the current 1.2 Share viewer, sign in or restore in the main app first. The upcoming update opens shared files directly in the full app. Before an offline visit, verify access and saved files; your trial must remain active throughout the visit. Refunds or revoked transactions remove the affected access when a verified update is processed.

Drawing compatibility

LinePocket renders supported 2D model-space objects. Some DWG versions, custom objects, hatches, external references, paper-space layouts, and font-dependent content may not display completely. Read any import warning and compare critical content with a reference view from the authoring application.

If a DWG cannot open, export an ASCII DXF from your CAD application and try that file. Confirm drawing units before relying on a measurement; a unitless drawing needs its source units established.

A large or damaged file will not open

Try opening the saved drawing in the main app rather than the Share viewer. The version 1.2 Share extension has a smaller memory allowance; the upcoming update opens shared drawings in the full app. Remove unneeded content or export a smaller 2D drawing from the authoring application. Repeated retries of the same damaged file are unlikely to help.

Upcoming 1.2.1 workspace

These tools are in development and are not yet in the public 1.2 download.

Optional iCloud sync preview

Private iCloud sync is being tested for the next update. It uses the same system iCloud account on both devices, separately from Sign in with Apple. Imported files, exports, saved measurements and PDF page scales are included; source-object working-copy patches are not. Turning sync off retains downloads and cloud data. Public availability will be confirmed after release validation.

Your files

LinePocket saves local copies; its opening and measurement workflow does not overwrite the source drawing. Keep your own backups. Drawings stored only inside an app can be lost if the app is deleted.

Contact

Email [email protected] for help, questions, or feedback. No app account is required to contact support.

When reporting an issue, include your iPhone or iPad model, iOS or iPadOS version, LinePocket version, format, approximate file size, and the visible error. Share a drawing only when you have permission.

Upcoming trial update: all accounts receive 30 days from their original trial start. After expiry, keep opening and viewing drawings and PDFs, reviewing saved measurements, and sharing unchanged originals. Creating or editing measurements, PDF calibration, export, printing, sharing saved exports, and sync between devices require lifetime access. Downloaded files and cloud data are kept. This change is not yet in the version 1.2 App Store download.
